FAQ & User Guide

Complete answers on location, coordinate sharing, and privacy security.

How do I quickly share my GPS location and coordinates?

It's very simple. Just click the location button on the bottom right of the map to get your current location, or drag the map to a specific point, then click the "Copy" button below. The system will automatically generate text containing the "detailed address" and a "Google Maps link", which you can directly paste into LINE, Messenger, or a text message to send to friends.

Can this tool query latitude and longitude coordinates?

Yes. When you move the center point of the map, this tool will in real-time calculate and display the precise latitude and longitude values (Latitude & Longitude) of that point. This is very useful for engineers, delivery personnel, or outdoor adventurers who need accurate GPS data.

Why is the location sometimes inaccurate?

Location accuracy is mainly limited by your device's hardware and environment. Mobile phones using GPS chips are usually the most accurate (outdoor error of about 5-10 meters). If you are indoors or using a desktop version, it usually relies on Wi-Fi or IP address positioning, and the error range may be larger. It is recommended to enable high-accuracy mode on your mobile phone for the best results.

Is it safe to share my location using this tool? Will it track my movements?

Absolutely safe. This tool is a completely "client-side" application. Your location information is only processed in real-time within your browser. We do not store, record, or track any of your historical trajectories or personal privacy data on the server side.

Do both desktop and mobile versions support the location feature?

Yes, this tool uses responsive web design (RWD) and perfectly supports iOS, Android mobile phones, as well as desktop computers (Windows/Mac). Whether you are using your phone outdoors to find a location or using a computer in the office to query coordinates, you will get a consistent and smooth experience.

Can the generated link be opened in Google Maps?

Yes. The links we generate use the internationally standardized Google Maps format. After your friends receive the link, they can click it to jump directly to the Google Maps App for navigation without installing any additional software.

I accidentally blocked location access. How do I re-enable it?

Don't worry, this is a browser privacy protection mechanism. Please click the "🔒 lock icon" or "settings icon" to the left of the address bar at the top of the screen, find the "Location" or "Location" option, switch it to "Allow" or "Reset Permission", and finally refresh the webpage to locate again.
